Slide instead of hike – and experience the mountains in a whole new way! The new Zugspitzpark offers the ultimate summer mountain adventure for the whole family. Pick up your sliding mat at the valley station and your adventure can begin. The Wettersteinbahn takes you comfortably up to the mountain station – and from there, straight into sliding fun.
On the new forest slide adventure trail, six varied forest slides await you – from tube slides and wave slides to open slides in different lengths and designs. The individual stations are connected by short, family-friendly walking trails. A special highlight awaits right at the start: the Steinadler Slide, almost 36 metres long with around 14 metres of elevation difference.
Between treetops, fresh mountain air and impressive panoramic views, the trail itself becomes an experience. Whether for families with children or anyone who loves action, fun and movement – shared adventure is at the heart of it all. Especially for children, hiking becomes a real highlight.
Sliding mats can be conveniently rented at the valley station. Attractive family tickets are also available for an adventure-filled day in the mountains.
